How can you tell if your gtp has mites?
and what can you do to treat them?
when i came home from work my gtp just got done useing the bathroom, about five min later i went to check on him/her and there were tiny white in color bugs on the side of the tank and on the feces. Also is ther any chance that my ball pythons can get it? I am unable to handle the gtp because he/she is to aggressive.

Thanks for any help

What kind of substrate are you keeping it on? It sounds like wood mites, which are harmless to snakes. I have seen them in everything from aspen to pine to mulch. Snake mites are black. Any more info?

To me it sounds like wood mites. I wouldn't worry to much about it.
