I've never had them but I recently thought about keeping them. Problem for me was the large cage they needed. I guess I have the space, but I don't think I could keep with the maintenance of heating and cleaning that huge of a cage. I have a corn snake and a collared lizard right now and they are a handful, so I decided against getting a new lizard. Although maybe sometime in the future when I have my own place and I'll be there for a while, I'll get this guy, they are pretty cool. I checked out some videos on YouTube of them and they are a riot.
