Hi all This a male reduced pattern and black back is a normal??
YUP.
it is by definition a normal.
Could be a genetic black back but the proof is in the pudding. if bred to another animal there is a high probability of producing more black backs!
But all in all it is still a black back and maybe worth just a hair over a normal. so instead of a $30 animal it is $45.
It is a great tool in breeding into existing true morphs. pastels, cinnamons etc.
The Mojave black back is really stellar but only mildly increases the total value. Makes nice babes that are that much easier to sell.
God Bless, Lee Van Hyfte
