Hatching Container Size

wink0083 Jun 06, 2008 07:55 PM

My female motley just laid 19 eggs and I've already got most of my shoe boxes set up for gecko babies so I was thinking about just going with deli containers. I'm looking at lllreptile right now and they have a pile of different sizes. I just built a huge new rack so space isn't an issue, I'm just looking not to reinvent the wheel and not consider something I should. Like does anyone think it matters if you use clear vs. solid? The solid only come in the small diameter. If being clear doesn't matter, I'll go with the 9.75" to keep from having to switch containers in a few months.

go with the solid color instead of clear. the snakes will feel more secure and will be easier to feed
