Oops! 1 Male 1 Female: Need Advice

nguertin Jun 06, 2008 09:52 PM

I ordered 2 female geckos and have recently found out one is male.
Is it alright to keep them together and to just keep taking
the eggs?

I'm worried about the female's health with her constantly
laying eggs, when I am not a breeder, nor do I have a
desire to become one.

Any Advice would be appreciated.

The only major things that vary between a pet and a breeder setup is that you will need a shallow bowl of calcium powder for the female to eat as she needs and also a box of moist dirt or moss partially above the heat pad for the female to feel comfortable laying her eggs. Good luck
