My box turtles winter home.

Here is a picture of my turtles home for the winter in my reptile room. by the way I went with the plack pearl hard wood mulch, i think there like it for their winter pen.

Thats actually a sweet indoor set-up, it looks like its built right into the wall? The consensus from what I have read says that brumation in the winter time is very benifitial to BTs health, it's your choice, but have you at least considered it?
Is that a red-foot "mooning" the camera in the pic?

if you mean hibernation by brumation its no they live inside for the winter.they lived inside for almost 24 yearsand there very health.

That may be so, but there is a difference between survivng and thriving. Just because an animal has survived for a long time doesn't mean it has been given the proper care. I'm sure your box turtles are healthy(I'm referring to other stories I've heard), but I just wanted to make that clear because alot of times when someone gives advice to another about their animal, the person doesn't think they need to follow that advice considering how long the animal has survived under those conditions. Hibernation also would be beneficial to your turtles heath.
