Babies born 5/22 and 5/23

jeanne May 23, 2003 11:58 AM

These 2 are from the same clutch, born one day apart. They are so beautiful! Would the second one be considered a reverse stripe, or does his tail have to be reverse stripe too?
Sorry about the bad pictures, but I didn't want to stress them out by taking a bunch of pictures. I will have better pictures later.

Thanks

Nice looking little guys. As for the reverse stripe. Actually a reverse stripe would have a center line of dark markings and no markings on the sides. She or he does have a nice body stripe though. Keep up the good work. Also I would like to see some more pics of your fattails. Congrats!

Nice babies.

Actually, to be a reversed stripe - the dark melanin stripe has to be down the middle. That's what we call a partial stripe - although you actually have to wait until they get out of their baby color to see what they are going to do.

Fun times, huh? It's great seeing those little surprises in the incubator.

The first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do at night is check to see if any of them hatch and makes my day when open the incubator and see their new born faces looking up at me!
