Nice, I love the black velvet, in more ways than one. Dan I read in a book that there is a population of melanistic red-sided garters in Wyoming-Montana area, is that just a misnomer and really it's just the mel-wandering?

There might be some mel redsideds here somewhere, but I've never found any. Fish & Game dosnt know wether the ones along the Missouri River are reds or wanderings, but they are wanderings for sure.
