I found this little guy west of Great Falls, MT.

And this big guy south of town.

Thanks for looking,

Those are nice! I would love to photo a western. Did you see those during the day crawling in the open or road hunting at night? Thanks,Kevin

Thanks Kevin! I found the little one early in the day under a rock when it was only 45f outside. Later the same day I went to a different area & found the bigger one sitting out in the open (about 70f out). I also found a nice one sitting by some rocks 2 days before, but didnt have my camera on me.

Hey Joe,
It is cool to see them play dead. All the babies I find do it. You can flip them right side up & they just turn right back on to thier backs over & over again. I had one hatch the other day that does it too.

Cool Stuff Dan,

Nice to see that some hogs are out and moving around up your way. I'm hoping to get out and look for a few of those myself the next few days, that is if it ever quits raining.

Hey Rich,
How are those Yellowstone eggs looking?

Hi Dan,

I have 8 hatchlings from last week and another clutch due to hatch any time. Should get 6 to 8 more from that one. Then some double hets, albinos, and then more Yellowstones.

Lots of fun this time of year.

Take Care
