Possible stolen ball pythons in NE area?

I'm talking to a fellow who has some REAL high end ball pythons for sale, but the price is just too good to be true.

Anyone know if there were any stolen recently? Or maybe some way to find out?

You could check with local authorities..but if you are talking with this guy over the internet (ie email) then it could simply be a scam.
