Dusting Crix Question???

Nathan_T Sep 01, 2003 10:11 AM

I know it's common practice to dust crix daily for young beardies but at what point do you start to scale back?

I have 4 young Red Morphs (hatched Aug. 4th) and have been dusting their crix once a day but I'm not sure when I should start scaling back on it.

BTW, I've been in the shadows for the past few weeks just reading and I just wanted to say Hello to everyone.

here, we dust daily for the first 6 months or so. If you start to see a growth spurt you can also dust daily. after that we go to every other day til about a year, then a few times a week.

We also just started using the vitamin supliment from miner-all once weekly. You feed it to the crix and then feed the crix to the dragons within 12 hours.

We also try to give our babies at least 2 hours of sun a day. (these days it's mostly liquid sunshine though)
