wow cool, chicks are the same price as a pinky at the pet shop, 75 cents =D
By the way, chicks can only be fed to adults right?

I feed only to 3 and a half feet snakes and larger. Otherwise their yaws get all messed up. Feeding chicks is not common practice. I only feed every 8 feedings a chick or the snakes that are on hungerstrike. Some people say it's bad but I have not had a single problem in over 15 years.

once a month. I've found the baby chicks (1-2 days old) also help put wait back on the females after egg laying. Chicks don't have all the nutrients needed to be the only food item for your snakes, but the baby chicks have a high yoke content which helps put weight one. I like to feed all my adult snakes chicks once a month and feed the females e few extra times just after egg laying and prior to putting them down for the winter. They happen to love them too. Kunasir ratsnakes generally like to go on hunger strikes a couple times a year. They have never skipped a chick meal for me. In fact, hardly any of my snakes miss a baby chick meal. They all seem to know when 100 baby chicks arrive. My larger snakes get up to 3 chicks per feeding. Not a bad price either. 100 baby chicks delivered costs $45. Good luck.

in the United Snakes as “chicken snakes”. Most of them LOVE birds.
I’m just guessing because I haven’t fed my snakes chicks in years, but I’d wait until your snake was around 300 grams before feeding it day-old chicks.
