Any thoughts on using predatory mites?

Hi,
Has anyone heard or know anything about using Beneficial Predatory Mites (Hypoaspis miles) to combat snake mites. I just read of someone selling them, and I found it pretty intrigueing as I've never heard of this before.

For 98% of hobbyist out there I don't see a need. If you are constantly importing animals then I can see where these may come in handy. If you have a clean collection you shouldn't have a problem with mites anyways.
