That thing is unreal Howie. That's one of the nicest of those I've ever seen.

Thanks Randy. The pic and those in the previous post are of a pair. They were a pair of 2 pair Beaver and I brought last year and the best pair went to a friend(can you imagine a better looking pair than these, however?)

great! now that you have posted pics of your awesome pyros, it is time to wander over to the indie forum with pics of your new boy and girl!

just to see... how many HOURS until the big show starts?

1824 hours, and if I can ever get a buddy of mine to come over to take pics and the Indigos don't bum rush me with mouths wide open, I will post pics.

daveb Jun 09, 2008 08:25 AM

I'm telling you, you need a 3' hemostat and welder's gloves, lol.

Great looking pyros. How is that project going?

Thanks Dave. The project is moving a bit slower than anticipated but we do have eggs on the ground and with a group of 5.7 should all be breeder size by next year. The only problem is the burning of my retina when I look at them too long.

I've never seen one like that. I've seen the black reduced quite a bit but not to that extent. That looks better than the albino, IMO.

Muhammad Ali

elaphopeltishow Jun 08, 2008 04:58 PM

Thanks. I think they are pretty awesome too. Good little clip of Ali. What about showing the clip of March 8,1971, Rd. 15 when Joe Frazier threw a perfect left hook and deposited Ali on his butt?

cn013 Jun 08, 2008 05:38 PM

Perfect... just an amazing snake. I've never seen anything better... well freakin' done!

Thanks Chris for the kind words. I marvel at them every time I see them.

viborero Jun 08, 2008 07:42 PM

...I've never seen anything like that. Makes me almost sorry I posted my ugly little Payson, AZ wild-caught a couple posts down...

Very nice! Excuse me whilst I wipe the drool off of my keyboard...

Howie.
What kind of medium and furniture do you keep your pyros on? Is that tree bark? And some type of reptile hotel?

Oh and BTW , nice pyro. Does it let go after you add alcohol?

Darn, I know most of these mugs. Howie, Randy, Tom, & Dennis trying to hide over there on the right. Take plenty of photos at this years expo guys. Steve

elaphopeltishow Jun 09, 2008 10:59 AM

Beaver is currently playing with them. I do believe it is a tree bark medium however. I haven't had a pyro latch on to me for a very long time, so I don't need to waste good alcohol on them(wisenheimer-lol).Anytime I take a bite of anything I do try to pour alcohol down my throat. It works , till my next bite(which I hope is very shortly thereafter.)

CrimsonKing Jun 09, 2008 10:13 PM

maybe you should keep a nice wild caught amazon tree boa nearby for just such emergencies!

Quite nice Howie! Always thought getting into those was a good move for you and Crepuscular Gopher

Thank you, "3:27P.M. Tony". Sorry, ran out of appellations. The Diurnal one

elaphopeltishow Jun 09, 2008 11:45 AM

OOPS! I plumb forgot, you do have one of the best "call" names of them all-Angry Tornado. That's almost as good as Mr.Mojo Risin(for you non Doors fans, an anagram of Jim Morrison). My anagram is one of the worst, by contrast--"Whorish enema"

Tony D Jun 09, 2008 12:28 PM

When you first told me that anagram I thought you said "Angry Tomato" and never questioned it. I like it so much I almost opened a web-site for my breeding called "Angry Tomato Herps". Made a logo and everything and showed it to Windy for her opinion. When I told her it was an anagram for my name she just said, "there's no m in your name"

Angry Tornado might be a Class A description of me in a text book kind of way but it not nearly as colorful a name for a herp breeder!

elaphopeltishow Jun 09, 2008 01:14 PM

Well, I would adopt the Angry Tomata moniker. I like it. Your friend, Mediocre Zucchini.
