What happened to the Irish ratsnake?

I apologize for the off-topic thread, but I've kinda missed Bill's input on various forums.

Shane:

If you're talking about Bill McGighan, I'll have to say I haven't seen one of his posts or comments here for a while. But I think the forum has been a little sluggish (at least with respect to posts by the old timers anyway) for a while. Have you been out in the field lately?

Regards
John

Yeah, I was referring to BillMcG. He's normally a regular poster over at fhf, but I can't recall a post from him in months.

I just got back from three weeks in Japan. I didn't spend nearly as much time in the field this year, but still found a lot of quads and climacs.........only one conspic (no DORs to boot). Struck out on the easy opportunities (roadcruising, flipping, etc.), but put in 5.5 hours on a good mountain hike (< 24h remaining) and found one crossing the trail. I'll get a report up on the asian forum next week sometime.
