What makes a jungle a jungle?

I know it's a pattern but what are you looking for when you say jungle or possible jungle?

The question comes up often. It's a single codominant gene. In heterozygous form the animals have aberrant or blocky shaped saddles and usually enhanced color. In super form the markings get real aberrant. People get confused because some heterozygotes are "low expression" in that they can be hard to be sure if they carry the gene. So they are called "possible jungles". The low expression jungles have the same gene, and throw more aberrant specimens also. Mark
