i'm not quite sure

how does someone figure out what animal is best for them? i've looked into just about every thing but i still can't figure out wich animal is best for me. is there a way to find the right animal with out trying to keep it? i've done loads of research. i'm not a complete begginer i have two tortises a millipede and i used to have a bird.

The first thing I always say is you look at your space that you are able to give an animal. If a 4 foot cage is the largest space you have to allot, well then, you arent going to start with a burmese right? Next is it only you handling the animal or are you married? If there isnt a second person involved, once again, you rule out the giants. Do you want something that requires regular daily interact, like a lizard that must feed daily or a snake that feeds less frequently?

Most of us all have a dream animal. Look at your dream reptile. Komodo dragon you say? Ok start smaller with an ackie. No matter how insane that dream animal is, look at something that might work with you in the long run that is along the same species lines.

This is all personal preference. But these are a few things I suggest thinking of as you pick your reptile.
