I think Bindy's 1st clutch of eggs are hatching! one of em has a bit of reddish goo coming out. Is this normal?

Thanks, guys!

is the goo coming from a slit in the egg made by the baby dragon or just oozing through the 'skin' of the egg? Eggs can 'sweat' when they are close to hatching, usually followed by collapsing then hatching occurs after that..

If there is an actual slit, then the reddish ooze is just part of the usual contents of the egg.. though normally it is clear with some red 'veins' here and there, or traces of blood...and the placenta. As long as the hatchling itself is emerging and otherwise healthy, I wouldn't worry about the gunk coming from the egg as well.
