Well all my baby California Kingsnakes have shed. I got some pictures of all of them today, and I thought I'd share.

I just love the white stripe with the little claw on this one's tail. If it was female I may have been tempted to keep it.

This High White male was a suprise to see amongst all the others. Definetely a lot of influence from Daddy in this one!

I love the high-contrast patterns of black and white. My anery corn was very white and very black as a baby, but gradually turned more silver/gray, albeit still with strong black and some white. Do Cal Kings maintain their strong whites and blacks as they grow?

Thanks! Yes, Cal Kings hold on to that nice contrast as an adult. Although, the white sometimes looks a little "dirtier" because they have black skin that shows through. You can see what I mean in this picture of the Sire of this clutch:

Holy cow, those are beautiful. More than just that one of have face patterns on the top of their heads. Do you have pics of mom and dad? Hard to pick out a favorite, they are all unique.

Thanks Jeff! Cal Kings sure are a lot of fun, though the babies can be nasty little boogers. Just pulling one out of it's tub you get covered in bites and musk! Thankfully they grow out of it.
