I have two fat tail geckos, i can't see what is what.
Please help me, and try to tell me how you did it!

Unless that pic is playing games the top one with the regrown tail is female and the bottom one is male.

the lower suspected male one has defineately got preanal pores between his rear legs. in the pic they stand out looking like dark purple dots. hes not in the best position to see clearly. if his legs were in the same position as the top one those pores would form a slight line kind of V shaped. Fat tails are fat and females can appear to have the bumps at the beginning of their tail. hope this helps.

I have to agree with darkman. top one is a female. bottom is the male. You can see the V on the male on the bottom.

no thats just one of my favorite places to read their forum. when i was just starting out i would look on there to learn how to breed, incubate etc.

sorry nothing to do with origional post which appears answered but for those who caught that heres the story. i go by Dakman which was derived from me having a very customized Dodge Dakota. I seem to be called Darkman which appears very easy to type instead a couple times now. makes me seem evil, hehehe

I was going to say that i've seen you called DARKMAN a few times I've been called RedQUACK (not on here though......yet LOL)

Another Dodge fan......WOOHOO. I'm a fan of the Durango. It would make transporting large tanks much easier than using my sunbird!!! I had to put my 40 gal (which i'm splitting in half for two geckos) in the back seat.......what a pain!!!

As for the pic of the fattails, i've been staring at it for a while now and i still can't see the pores on the male LOL
