I did two crosses several years back. One was a hypo brooks to a really nice goini and the other was a sockhead spledida to a screaming 50/50 dessert phase Cal king. There was this one guy who's initial responce was why would I create such monsters but he kept coming back eventually picking up the last pair of spledita X Cal king crosses.
The trick, and one rarely, under taken is to work with these attractive F1 phenotypes so that they become stable.

Yes, now that is visually intriguing, both in color and pattern. Love the head scales on that.
