Ok, We just recently purchased a retic, and now a lot of our snakes have mites. The snake who have them are the two retics and the burmese. We haven't dealt with mites in a while, so I was wondering what are the most effective ways of getting rid of the mites. We need to know asap. Please help. We have already put all the snakes in pillowcases and taken everything out of their tanks. Right now, the tanks are bare, sitting in the sun after I sprayed them down thoroughly.

I recently used Zoo Med "Mite Off" and had great results.

And without the harsh chemicals in other sprays!!

Best of luck,

Ok, I'll look for that. The closest pet store to me said the only thing they have is Natural Chemistry, or something like that, does anyone know anything about that?

Look at the ingredients, Zoo med has SODIUM LAUREL SULFATE

If the name implies a truly "natural chemistry" then that would be the main ingredient.

The same ingredient as shampoo, mild and effective.

I was more comfortable soaking my snake in this than pesticides.
