I remember seeing what was ostensibly the first wild caught specimen of albino deserticola back in the early 90's at Len Moore's place. I was so excited as the other California Pits were bred as albino already, deserticola was not. It was adult then and (if memory serves) looked very much as yours do. Beautiful!
Whatever happened to Mr. Moore? Anybody in contact with him?

I talk with Lynn once in a while still. His health is not real good and he isn't keeping any snakes anymore.
I also saw all his amel basin projects and I remember him telling me that they were the product of a san diego balbino bred into great basin and then bred back to great basin etc....I was very excited when he told me he had albino deserticola since I live in pur deserticola range.I remember how I was bummed out when he told me the real story when I was at his house.

He did not tell me that story.

My other memory of Len was his 6 foot sinaloan milk. Back then, I knew sinaloans got BIG but I had no idea that big. He also had a normal four foot caliking that was big around as a ball python! LOL
