motley litter

JasonReese Jun 10, 2008 07:53 PM

I was half expecting a litter of slugs, it just didn't seem like the male(an 18 month motley) was on her(a 4 year d/h sunglow) that long. But last Thursday she droped 25 babies & only 3 slugs(12 motleys 6 of which hypo, 13 normals 8 of which hypo all 25% het albino), not bad for her first litter. Here are the 12 motleys the next day.

Thanks for looking, Jason Reese

If the Mother is a DH Sunglow, all those babies are 50% Possible het Albino not 25%.

Congrats on a great litter of kiddies!!!

Hey thats right! I don't know what I was thinking. I was so ecstatic about her dropping 12 healthy motleys I wasn't even thinking about the ratio of possible hets.
Thanks Jeff!
