I have my next door neighbors large male 3-toed on breeder loan while he is gone and I put him with my females, they have all been very active this week with all this warmer weather and thunderstorms almost daily, so I have my fingers crossed that maybe I will get some eggs still this year. With everyone having eggs already, I feel like I am way behind schedule, but this spring has been cold and slow to warm up here in Iowa. I have a lot of snake babies to take care of right now so if the box turtle eggs would come later this summer that would be a good anyway I guess.

What he gets is I am taking care and feeding his box turtles while he is gone away for business, as well as I snowblowed his driveway last winter while he was away. He doesn't have any interest in offspring....yet
