This girl just laid 6 nice big eggs. It's not a lot of eggs but not bad for her first year.

that's one great looking female! congrats! my southern pine laid 7 eggs and it is her first year also. fun stuff!

She was the only breeder size honduran I have that didn't produce good eggs last year.

I wish I had your luck...my first clutch of the season (laying now) so far has 3 slugs!

The female was proven...but it was the male's first year.

Thanks Rusty. I've been there with the first year duds. I know what your saying. I was very happy to get a healthy first clutch from her. I had used him last year but it was her first year.

Nice... congrats on the healthy clutch! By the way no worries on it being a 'small' clutch -- it looks to me everything that pops out has a much better than average chance of being knockouts! Well done!
