Does anyone think 80-100F ambient 120-130F surface temp for basking 70-75F night isn't hot enough? (curious...)

I'd say thats about right,
Me too. Why do you ask?
probably around 70-75 degrees as I turn off all lights/heat sources at night and keep the house on the coolish side at night. My mali does fine. My day temps are the same as you posted. I think (purely my opinion) that the night drops are beneficial. Can't really say why, but I think it better duplicates the desert conditions experienced in the wild.
I agree. I think the lower drop allows them a deeper recuperative sleep at night.
