European Ratsnake eggs

sjohn Jun 11, 2008 09:27 PM

A couple of my European Ratsnakes have layed their eggs, below this French locale Ladder Ratsnake laid these four eggs today.

Yesterday this Croatian Leopard Ratsnake came through, it interesting how long these European Ratsnake eggs are.

This is an 'o7 hatchling from the above female, Leopard Ratsnakes have proved to be easy to raise and growth is rapid unlike what has been believed of European Ratsnakes.

Very nice, Scott! I love European rats, especially the smaller species. I paired up my situla this year, but did not witness copulation. They were pretty active in the back of the tub, though, so maybe...

Very nice! Congrats! I've never had a European Rat... How are they compared to Asian Rats and N.W. Rats?

Nice Scott
Very happy to see that they are bred ower there.
One day you should try some Greek situla. They are so different in colors compared to the Croatian, that always looks the same. I especially like the ones that get a redish groundcolor in stead of gray. Have you experienced the greenish babies? Unfortunately they don`t keep that color, but they are stunning

Best wishes
Søe
