To the best of my knowledge...there are a handful of people who successfully breed Uro's. They only breed once a year and properly incubating eggs is tougher then getting your female to produce fertile eggs.

If ease of breeding these animals is what determines if you get a uro or not, then they are not for you. Breeding seems to be easy by my standards but that’s because, one, I have spent a tremendous amount of time and still do in trying to perfect my husbandry habits ( like most other successful breeders) and two, I have only been breeding a small number of animals for a very short amount of time. When looking into getting a uro, my opinion is that breeding is something you look into once you have gotten comfortable with keeping the species in question. Not trying to come off as rude or condescending, just trying to save you the time and money if you’re looking for a quick and easy breeding project. Just my thoughts.

Ditto what Nathanael has said... Uros are quite expensive to initially set up properly and care for on a day to day basis. They take a large time commitment, and I wouldn't dream of trying to breed them until I knew that my husbandry was 100% correct. Anyone thinking of getting a Uro would be best advised to do a LOT of research first, and have about $400 set aside to get a proper enclosure, lights, heating, UV, substrate, temp gun, digital thermometers, etc, all set up correctly and have temps verified before even bringing one home. Plus vet bills to check and treat for parasites... Then, after a good year or two of maintaining healthy animals, would I even think of attempting breeding these guys.

I agree. The breeder I got Ra from gave up on breeding uros that very year because the cost just wasn't worth it. I am breeding mine, not for profit (because there really isn't any for hobbyist breeders with only one breeding pair) but for helping out with captive breeding and providing people with quality pets.
If you like a challenge, uros can most certainly be fun and rewarding.

If you're looking for easy breedings, I'd recommend leopard geckos.
