Can you run two racks with one Helix?

There's only one probe but there's two places to plug something into...

Thanks, Quinton

Can you run two racks with one Helix?

As long as both racks' wattage requirement doesn't exceed the Helix output rating. I don't have my Helix manual in front of me and I don't remember what the rating is.

If the racks are identical in build & heat source you should be OK by placing the probe on one rack or the other. However, there's always the risk of a malfunction on the rack that doesn't have a temp sensor.

You could use a cheap on/off thermostat inline for safety on the rack that doesn't have the Helix temp sensor. Connect the on/off thermostat to the Helix and then connect the other rack to the on/off thermostat.

Have a good one!
