OT: A different kind of litter *PICS*

SoCal-619 Jun 12, 2008 10:17 AM

Well my boa season has wrapped up and we didn't get all we were hoping for but we now have this litter to keep us busy. I'm starting to miss my baby boas, at least you don't have to wake up every 2 hours with them!

I was going to breed my rotties but I thought about it and figured I would just stick to reptiles because of the waking up factor. Good luck and where are located, I may be able to help you find homes for them. Thanks and let me know

SoCal-619 Jun 12, 2008 04:36 PM

Yeah the waking up factor definitely sucks but the cute factor helps even things out. These lucky bullies San Diego born and bred.

congratulations, you could not ask for a nicer litter of pups, their so cute, nice pic's too, i am a boxer breeder of about 20 years and i also breed reptiles, i know how much work is involved in raising a litter of pups, good luck with them.

Thanks. I knew it wold be a lot of work but wowzas!!!

Congrats on that litter! That's a HUGE litter of Bulldog puppies! We used to have a Bulldog and the one time we bred our female, she had one stinking little puppy. The stud service cost more than that one puppy was worth. I'm sticking with Boas.

Yes, I agree, that first picture is great and congrats on the litter of beautiful pups!

SoCal-619 Jun 12, 2008 04:41 PM

Thanks Jeff, we sure did get lucky with 9 pups! That stud sure lived up to his name. Do you still have your bullie? If not call me I'll have one picked out just for you..just keep him away from the glue fumes would ya lol!

That 1st one is an award winning picture, congratulations...

Congrats on a great looking litter. We have bred chihuahua's and boxers for the show ring. Lots of work in that litter but I know it will be well worth it for you. Congrats again!

Hey Socal, I was told that Bullies are strictly born via c-section. This doesn't appear to be the case from your pics. but I may be wrong.

SoCal-619 Jun 12, 2008 04:44 PM

As a matter of fact it was a c-section. We had a great bulldog vet deliver our pups. Hes 2 hours away but well worth the drive, if you look in the first pic you can see a 4-5" incision about the little brindle's head on the bottom.

keithletourneau Jun 12, 2008 03:44 PM

Love the pups. I breed Cane Corso since 1995. Waiting for our Grand Champion Addie to welp on July 2nd. Boas are a great way to chill out after pupies, shows and working the dogs.

Looks like a c-section?? And looks like all went well as well.
Good luck with the pups and Boas Hope they all go to grate homes.Keith
P.S how many are you keeping lol

Thanks for all the kind words and well wishes. Here are a few pics of the parents

Heres mom: Fergie

and the daddy: SUMO!

cute...
I was hoping the incision was a spay after the pups...... not a c-section... it is interesting that they can only be born that way... never heard of that... but I don't breed dogs- so I wouldn't know..

they're adoreable-- love the first pic!

BillyBoy Jun 13, 2008 07:55 AM

Big congrats! What a great looking litter of bullies! Fantastic pics too, especially of mom nursing flat on her back! Too cute! :D

mike_panic Jun 13, 2008 10:32 PM

I noticed the sutures on mom. I guess its true that those dogs are always born via C-Section. Is that the norm? Great shots by the way. They are really beautiful. MIke Panichi
