I have two male leopard tortoises both CB 03 but about 9 months difference in hatch date, but they are significantly different in size (one is 7" and the other 11" straightline). I got them as hatchlings. Anyhow - they live together but now spend all day mounting one another - it is noisy and seems stressfull (no one gets any rest). Neither is getting hurt at this point but am I going to have to house them separately to keep them safe??? Longterm would a male need to be kept alone?? How are they with females?? Will this behavior become more aggressive??
