Python natalensis

Seba Jun 13, 2008 03:49 AM

Hi from Italy, I know Python natalensis in captivity are very rare, but don't despair: I have 4.2 specimens that I hope to breed in 2009 or 2010 (one female is subadult, the other one is a hatchling).
One of my hatchling males:

Hi Flavio,

I spent about 20 years to find two different bloodlines of Python natalensis... If you are patient in 2009 or 2010 I will breed them (I have 4.2 specimens). Their maximum adult size is 5 m for females, this species is smaller than P. sebae but still a true giant.

Stefano

Could you post some more pictures? I'm currently in search of some of these guys for my personal collection and when I find some I want to make sure they are what I'm buying. Thanks!

Hi, these are the pictures of all the 5 hatchlings. The subadult female is very aggressive and I plan to make good pictures outside of its terrarium very soon:

The pictures show the shipping boxes, now all the snakes have better terrariums and a different substrate.
