After all the time and expence, my male veild has passed away. Though his time with me was short I will still miss the little fella and am proud to say that he was his natural bright colors when I found him and not his old drabby browns. 8^( Thanks to everyone that helped me!

Many times the chameleon will mask an illness until it is too late to bring them back from it.

Hope you try again someday - it sounded like you were getting the husbandry figured out. And the important thing was your efforts and caring..!!
