Mark, that is real close..Only difference seems to be a few dorsal connections to the side keyholes on yours..It's possible they will turn out to be the same thing...
I hatched three out,and will have a few group pics up soon.

bsr inc Jun 14, 2008 07:34 PM

It is not a very descriptive name. Although Paintball is more funny than descriptive as well.

bsr inc Jun 14, 2008 08:02 PM

I picked sentinel ball as an homage to ralphs neo ball keeping a "matrix" theme as the two genes looked very similar although not identical.
It does however look to be the same animal that charles has produced. They get awesome with age and my females are now like 800 grams and really pretty. My male is fussy and has been a slow grower-maybe up to 350 grams-really prefers the soft furs if anything. I had them on display last year at daytona as sentinel balls, and labeled on the front page of my website as sentinel balls for the last year or so. I was completely unsure of the genetics though, so maybe charles should be able to name them. I was thinking these were the codoms and that the super would be different but I guess charles says these are the super form of another codom. A little dissapointing to me, but they are way cool none the less and have a ton of potential combining with other morphs. My male should be breeding in novemeber so if these are the super, all the offspring should be the codom. Email me if you get a minute charles.-

Yep,that one looks like them.
I started with an 03 "normal" female...She produced in 06,07,and now this clutch.Which is from an 06 son bred back to her...I've kept all the hets from every clutch(,and it really helped to get three supers!)

So how did Ben happen to get three supers from Africa?

how did nj tom hatch out 3 over here last year?-That is far more slim odds than the entire breeding population of the continent of Africa. Actually I think 2 people hatched them out randomly. Piecing together the clues it looks like it may be a double codom. Matt-you have seen that yellowbelly vanilla thing I have--I showed it to you a couple of times?--I think that is the codom(het) and would make sense as he came in with the sentinels or paintballs last year. He looks like a really amazing electric colored yellowbelly. Now whether or not it is a yb x the unknown morph or unknown morphs x unknown morph(paintball) is yet to be seen. I would guess charles could chime in on this. It would be neat if it was another yb cross to add to the list.

I crossed them into yellowbellys while i was raising her first litter up..Got 2.1 crossed, and .2 hets...They are smeared looking double hets..Oh well,..but they will make nice offspring!

hellifiknow.,but here's how i see it..At least there are only four people, holding eight supers(,and two that Ben is hiding)..I'm happy with that. :D
Now the question is,who(either Mark,Chuck,Tom or Ben)is going to cross it into what, and when..There is also alot of diversity between what appears to me to be three lines.

I remember the paintballs vaguely...because I had a female that looked similar and I asked if you thought she was one.
If I message you a pic of her, could you let me know?
