My friend's family, non-herpers, stumbled up on this sight while picnicking near Riverton, Utah last week.

That set of photos has been all over the Internet for the past month with a half dozen different stories about where they were taken and by whom. They have supposedly been taken by somone in Wyoming, utah, Colorado, Texas, California and by a Border patrol officer in Arizona. They are what they are, but in regards to who took them and where....that's a crap shoot at best. AT this point I think their credibility is non-existent.

I'm very sorry to have posted a repeat, or a wrong source. My friend sent them to me w/ a note about her family finding them. I had no reason to doubt the source. Either way & wherever they're from, they are cool.

I think if I came over a ridge and saw that first my heart would skip a few beets, after that if I didn't need medical attention I would have to sit and have a cigaret while think of what to do next, I would more than likely take a picture or 2 and high tale it out of there, LOL Just to many in to close quarters to want to mess with he he hee. We don't have a fear but we have a great respect for these animals.

No apologies necessary! They are very cool pictures indeed. I just think it's hilarious how these things can travel through cyberspace and get distorted along the way!

Thats funny. I got that on my Government email about two months ago from a friend with the BP in AZ. He claimed that he took those pictures there in AZ. I figured as much. Who knows...this one will be floating around the web for years. Lets see how the story builds, twists and turns.
