I had put this male brooksi (my "hypo-est" as in least black pigment overall) in with a hypo-het female for breeding purposes. He seemed mildly interested but but made no mating attempts. To stir things up a bit I added the axanthic female. It's not completely apparent in the photo, but he is biting the female axanthic's neck while copulating with the other one.
Hoping for more like last year where some of the babies had virtually no black pigment on their heads at hatching. It's the BALDY Brooksi!

Great capture. Good luck w/ babies this season.
I just had an unexpected clutch of eggs from a het/albino female (she was only in w/ a 2x het/snow male for about 10 min. while I cleaned cages) but they are welcomed anyhow.

and mid 90's again, at least when it comes to this. it seems like the beginning of this decade, the nice hi yellow brooksi sort of disappeared from at least mainstream view. any idea what happened to the canal line that glades herp used to offer?

I wish to heck I could have made it to the show yesterday in Lauderdale, but some crap came up that I had to take care of.
