The difference between the classictails and the laddertails is extreme...don't even look like they should be related...

Heather:

They all look very nice, but the tails on the albinos are outstanding.

Thanks for sharing.

That's so much fun to look at those, just beautiful Heather. So the Roswells have that Super Motley Looking head. The one Albino has the Laddertail. So I'm not wrong in thinking the Laddertail is probably the marker for the Roswell or its Codom and Roswells are the Super. Basically what Mark said earlier.

IS it me or do all of the Roswell's have slightly abnormal heads? Similar in a way say to the super motleys?

The head shape and dark eyes are very similar to the Super Motleys...I think if they didn't have the stripes it would be difficult to tell them apart from Super Motleys...

This is a closeup of the female...

The shape looks normal to me. I think it's more the fact it doesn't have any pattern or definition that makes it look "off", plus they are BCI/BCC crosses so head shape isn't going to be "normal" for either subspecies

In the case of the super motleys, it isn't a color issue, or lack of pattern/color, the head is just "off". If she's comparing those in person to her other boas, I'd bet she's giving the most accurate opinion as well.

Having only look at pictures, I'd say they look differrent because of an optical illusion due to the lack of facial markings.

If anyone would like to send me a super motley and a Roswell then I will be happy to give a more informed opinon.

Heather, where's the Roswell?!?!?!?! LOL

I don't care for the idea of crossing the boas at all, but I will admit those are some very nice and freaky animals. I understand the reason for crossing and as much as I hate to see it I would defend your right to do it. Those are truly gorgeous!!!
