Coolest Natural Pattern...

Spotted this guy slithering across the yard (live in South, GA) had to take a few pics after seein' the pattern.. Let me know if this is normal (I don't know I have kings)...

Funny you mentioned that!,....I posted a link to your post in the other forum regarding that one just a ways down on this page titled..."this is a MUST SEE".

Anyway, as to your question about it being normal or not,......that is as about as FAR from normal as you can get!,....that looks to be a sort of crazy wide-striped aberrancy that is broken into "cube" shaped squares......VERY unique!, and it's basically a "one-of-a-kind" animal.

There is a genetic mutation in cornsnakes that is very similar as well. Anyone into N. American Ratsnakes would just LOVE to own that special looking animal,...me included!..

I could see that being the latest cool Rat morph to hit the hobby!........but those are legally protected in Georgia though.

Thanks for sharing that awesome unique looking Black Rat!.....although it probably has a substancial percentage of Gray Rat in it's genetic lineage too.
