Tony D.'s easterns doing well

CrimsonKing Jun 16, 2008 05:47 PM

These eggs are being laid by a locality Currituck county NC female eastern king after she was bred to a Currituck co. NC male.

Tony D. your male was busy earlier this season! Besides this clutch he fathered a clutch of 12 from another NC female of a different locality.
(Actually there is yet another female but I don't think she's gravid)
I hope the young'n's look just like their parents!
They are cutting it close....to be hatched by showtime in Daytona....

Hey glad to hear it Mark! Will be interesting to see how they turn out and how many will be wide banded. I'm hearing that of this population wide band begets wide bands. This was not my or Howies experience with the near by Pungo Ridge population.
