well Beth i tried the paperbad trick and no luck, he didnt seem to wanna be in a paperbag very much, lol. i will try some other things and see what happens. thanks for the advice

Dang!! thats a bummer.
another thing i've done recently is to shred up some paper towels-- in about 3 inch wide strips- the length of the towel.
I put about 8 towels in a 32 qt. tub- and just made, like fluffy bedding. I took a lot of the towels out last nite and threw in a rat fuzzy- gobbled it right up--
I will look through my list of other ideas and see if I can find something else.
go ahead and check your temps again, blah blah blah and try again next week.
also-- as big of a pain as it is, try different prey-- the girl that just ate for me (that i used all the towels in)-- ate a day old rat pinky, refused 3 times, at a rat fuzzy, refused 5-6 times, ate a mouse, then another mouse the next week, then has refused 2 times, and just ate a HUGE rat fuzzy....
Ball's can be so confusing sometimes...
