tyler19 Jun 16, 2008 10:12 PM

i listened to all the advise you all gave me and i went and bought repti carpet instead of sand and made a darker sleeping spot for my leo's and they STILL WILL NOT EAT!!! i put 2 wax worms in their dish annd gave them 2 crickets. one of the wax worms crawled out and was chillin with them in their cave and i put it back where it belonged and turned on their red night time light and put in 2 crickets and they are walking right past the crickets after they see them and are moving if the crickets come near them :'( i dont know what else to do. i really think it might be the fact that i live in the masement? i have my dehumidifier on set to 35% humidity which is as low as it will go. i just dont know what to do. help

they might just have to get used to everything considering you just changed their enclosure around, just give them time and try offering different feeder insects. 35% isnt that bad for a leopard gecko, as long as it stays below 40% it won't bother then, although the lower the humidity the better.
