sluggish sav

rappstar609 Jun 17, 2008 10:52 PM

Is there such a thing as rotten mice? I bought a bulk pack (50) of frozen mice from the reptile show over the weekend and gave her 4 or 5 of them the day i bought them. they smelled. bad. especially during the defrost. but, i figured they are dead mice, they may just smell bad (*the mice i usually feed her though do not smell) so, 2 days later (today) i notice she is not herself. she is sluggish, barely coming out of her hide, when i take her out she numbly looks around as if she is out of it. she drank a lot of water, which is good, but she did that in a daze like trance as well. she hasn't dropped a deuce (pooped) since i fed her the mice either, which is unusual. So, if she is like this tomorrow, it is off to the vet. i was just wondering if anyone has heard of any cases like this.

word.

(This is how she usually acts)

Yes as with any meat item. Unfortunately show vendors are not the best people to deal with, unless it is a big name. NERD and others come to mind.

"peter python pusher" will just refreeze what sat out in his van in the sun last weekend, and hope you don't recognize him next year.

Good luck, that monitor looks like you take good care of it.

Lucky animal.

Wayne
