When it rains it pours . . .

rsherman79 Jun 18, 2008 08:43 AM

My first clutch of the season was a bit disheartening as I looked at the one lonely spider in a sea of normals. 6 eggs from a spider x normal and I only got 1 spider. I was hoping it wasn't an omen.

Yesterday I cam in to see a clutch of 9 eggs hatching from a pastel x pinstripe and found that it was raining lemon blasts! Out of a clutch of 9 eggs it looks like 5 lemon blasts, 2 pinstripes and 2 pastels.

I will post better pics once they come out.

Let's just say it's a good thing snakes don't have ears. I was definitely hooping and hollering!

Now I just hope that my next clutch of Pastel x Pinstripe has this great of odds. Hey a guy can hope can't he?

Congrats Ryan !

,and no normals!..That sure does makes up for the lack of spiders in your previous clutch.

Thanks Casey. I was pretty excited to say the least. But now I am worried about the next pastel x pinstripe I have hatching out. It's just like Vegas. Luck that good never seems to hold!
