Hypo Arabesque Pair

hiss_n_herps Jun 18, 2008 10:23 AM

Here are a few pictures of my pair of Hypo Arabesuqe Boas.
The female finally made it here this morning. Both are pos het Albino. These guys are both a little over a year old and coming a long great. The female is the lighter one in the pictures and comes from Chad Horne. The darker one with the complete pattern is the male (should be shedding any day now) and comes from Stuart Lichty. Sorry about the poor pictures. Maybe I should invest a little money in a better camera. Probably not....

Thanks for looking,

Chris

Glad you like her as much as I did, you should produce some real nice babies from that pairing.

That is a beautiful pair. The female from Chad although lacking the complete pattern is a knock out. Best of luck with them down the road.

I am plannign on breeding them eventually. I think the female will probably take another 2 years before she'll be ready but the male will be ready to go next season for sure. If Stuart still has his female (the mother of my male) we may work something out to see if we can strengthen the Arabesque influence in the offspring that the Hypo usually washes out. I have an adult female Sunkist Hypo that I can pair him with this year if he is ready. Otherwise, I will probably be looking for an adult female Stripe Albino to see if he is a definate het albino.
