Good stuff, Dan! I really dig the spadefoots - they're having an awesome year with all the moisture up here.

Yea the spades are all over here when its raining, but the plains toads have been out almost every evening, even dry ones.

Dan,

Great photos! Beautiful scenery and some great herp shots. Those Thamnophis sirtalis are gorgeous! I've enjoyed your posts thoroughly. Very cool to see your boy in on the action. The pics are great!

Looks like you'll have another herping companion soon?
Thanks for sharing!

Best wishes,
Casey Lazik

Good stuff. Wow! I'm impressed w/ the photos and that you got your wife to go field herping w/ you. Those C.c. mormons are awesome. Do you ever keep any of them. My friend has one from NorCal, that he's got eating mice and they are currently one of the snakes on my (everchanging) wish list.

Thanks!
My wife wouldnt let a little thing like being pregnant stop her from going out herpin with me, LOL.
The racers here are actually Eastern racers (C.c. flaviventris), but yea they are nice ones. I dont keep them, but have in the past & almost all would eat f/t mice for me.
