Some "ugly" Central American BCI...

PGoss Jun 19, 2008 11:09 AM

I realize not everyone may like Central American BCI, but I think there may be some potential.

P.S. I cheated with the last pic. Mexico is not in Central America, but I slipped her in anyway.

The third girl is a reverse striped Honduran, sometimes referred to as Tiger Hondurans. Below is a pic in her dark phase. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for posting the pics. I love the natural beauty of the locale boas. I know some think they are "ugly" but I differ with them strongly. The more I look at my amarali the more I "see" - very subtle colors, deep blacks, shimmering silver. Morphs are great but they aren't everything. Keep the pics coming!

I also think that the CA boas have potential yet to be tapped. Can I play? I hope you don't take offense to me posting some pics on your thread....just cant resist!

Let's see an updated picture of the girl that is in the second to the last picture. I'd love to see how she turned out.

Great looking group of nics!

I think the appeal of Central American BCI is their smaller size, don`t know if as many people would be into them if they grew to the same size as basins. Lol for the record I never referred to them as ugly. I just don`t think if they are bred to Colombians that they do Colombia any justice haha.
