new garter(pic)

Here's a pic of my new garter I spoke of earlier.He was sold to me as a red sided but,he sure looks like my red spotted.(what I'd hoped for)He's a little thin and has a stubbed tail but,overall he's still pretty.Thanks for the suggestion,I always quarantine my critters for a long time also,I have of no plans to breed these till next season anyway. Jeff

Dan,The invoice that came with this critter stated it is a red spotted.He ate 2 pinkies immediately. Jeff

Jeff, what's the the personalities like of your Oregon Red-spotted garters? More nervous or less then some of your other species? I'd like to add some more mid-west/west coast species of garters to my collection. I'm looking at the Oregon Red-spots like yours, and I may add some wandering garters in the not so distant future. Your melanistic wandering is killer.
