New Morph!!!

snakemandave Jun 20, 2008 09:59 PM

This is how the story begins....
This males father was bred to 2 different unrelated females and at least 1/2 the babies in each litter came out looking like this male.(1st picture)
I purchased this male from one of those litters
bred him to a hypo female and he produced similar results.
(2nd picture)
We're still working on this project but so far it's at least showing that it's a co-dom trait. We've spoken to Pete Kahl showed him the sire and the babies and he can't verify that they are jungles. As of now they are called Congos a new morph until further investigation. Any questions or comments feel free and will answer back soon.
Individual pictures will be posted soon.

Nice. I would like to see what they would look like crossed with a jungle. Thanks for sharing.

There would be no way for Pete or anyone else to confirm whether or not these are jungles. The only way is to prove them out. You would have to breed the adult male that produced these to a female jungle and see if you get any super jungles. There are no mistaking super jungles. You could also raise up a pair of the babies and breed them together and see what happens. Even if these are not jungles, maybe they have a super form of their own....Super Congos.
