Axanthic Plains

Steve_Craig Jun 21, 2008 07:09 AM

Axanthic plains are hard to capture their true colors. No matter how many pics I take they don't look as good as she does in person. These pics are kind of getting there, but in the pictures, her black is more washed out from the flash. In person the black is more crisp, contrasted with the lime green or teal dorsal stripe.
Now taking pics of my female blue stripe garter is alot easier. No problems with her colors showing during photo time. Thanks for looking. Steve

Steve,

She's a good looking snake! The first and last shots really show the contrasting colors on the lime green and blue colors, good job on getting some good shots.

Thanks Scott. I think the axanthics are a gorgoeus morph. Not screaming colors like some of the albinos or other morphs, but they do have a very pleasant color scheme.
